The Dublin Plumber Blog #26 – Out of Order Signs

Out of Order Signs

One of the best things about the plumbing and heating business for us is the job satisfaction.  Another great thing about this business is the variety of work we do every day, no two days are the same. When the phone rings you never know who is going to be on the other end and what the problem might be. In one day we could be working down as far as Greystones County Wicklow, up as far as Rush or Skerries in North County Dublin and over as far as Dunboyne in County Meath. The calls we get vary from leaks in plumbing fittings, water pressure and booster pump problems, heating system breakdowns and rads not working.

One of the most common calls we get are for toilets blocked or not flushing or refilling properly. We do an awful lot of commercial plumbing work for bars and restaurants in and around Dublin and a lot of plumbing work in offices and places of business. One of the most common sites we see are “out of order” signs on toilet doors. In a busy Dublin restaurant, bar or nightclub there is nothing worse then when your toilets suddenly become out of order. This can happen late in the evening long after normal business hours and cause havoc to your business. That’s when you call Dublin Area Plumbers. We have a 24 hour Dublin emergency plumbing service and have been called out on many occasions late at night.

It feels great to be able to take those signs off the door and tell our customers that their once out of order toilet is now back fully functional. We carry a vast array of the most common plumbing parts in stock and can repair the majority of plumbing and heating breakdown calls on the spot. Sometimes we are treated like super heroes by our customers for getting them up and running again and they can’t thank us enough. Even after 25 years in the plumbing and heating business it still feels good to see our customers happy and satisfied with the work we do. We love plumbing!
